Presentation of the project's development in a public session (Ongoing Meeting, OgM)

ViViDo – Management Platform of the National Support Network for Victims of Domestic Violence | EEA GRANTS . Open Call#4-A1 – Projetos para melhorar a proteção das vítimas de violência contra as mulheres e violência doméstica

On December 15th, ViViDo’s team organized a public session to present the progress made on the project (Ongoing Meeting, OgM). Given the well-known limitations of the pandemic, the event took place primarily online, with only the project team and the National Contact Point of the EEA Grants program, Dr. Susana Ramos, meeting in person in the Palácio Sotto Mayor, Lisbon.


With the main objective of disseminating to RNAVVD the digital prototype of the ViViDo platform,the event included several presentations focusing on the various aspects related to the development of the platform. 130 people from RNAVVD participated in the event online and contributed with questions and comments placed in the chat platform Zoom, where the event was hosted.


The opeining session included interventions by the Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality, Dr.Rosa Monteiro, the Ambassador of Norway, Tove Bruvik Westberg and the President of IGOT-UL, Professor José Manuel Simões, as well as representatives of the ViViDo project, Professor Margarida Queirós (IGOT-UL) and Professor Manuel Lisboa (NOVA FCSH).


The ViViDo project team made a series of interventions under the title ViViDo: from project to prototype, in which Professors Ana Lúcia Teixeira (NOVA FCSH)and Margarida Queirós (IGOT-UL) reported the work and various actions related with information and dissemination developed within the scope of the project and Dr. Tiago Abade (CCR Legal) highlighted the security and data protection aspects, assisted by the Norwegian project partner Runar Bergheim (Avinet).


Dr. Nelson Mileu (IGOT-UL) introduced the methodological approach to the prototyping phase of the ViViDo platform and Dr. Sandra Loureiro (AMBISIG) explained the Design Thinking process that led from the concepts and requirements to the prototype of the ViVIDo platform, having presented the layout, already interactive, of the various pages of the platform.


Two other team members, Tiago Mindrico (communications officer) and Andreia Batista (digital designer) presented, respectively: a summary of the Communication Activities promoted to date by the ViViDo project; and the Webdocumentary 'Feel(in) the fields', a piece of digital animation aimed at raising awareness of the phenomenon of domestic and gender violence.


Before the closing session, Dr. Marta Fagulha (CIG) participated through a pre-recorded video, in which she welcomed the initiative and explained the function of communication in the project.
